A chock. Incredibly raw, spontaneous and deep. Ullmann and Josephson give two of the best performances of all time. Just incredible.

Long but capturing portrait of a marriage with two amazing leads

Difficult in a good way. But not for everyone who’s got a sensitive temperament.

My favourite Bergman, in its miniseries version

Terrifying raw and real and profound. My favorite scene is the one where she talks with the old lady-the camera movement and words are magic
