This movie is crazy. Every character is off their rocker and every situation is extremely bizarre. Nick Cage was amazing here.
Probably one of Scorsese’s most underrated movies. Incredibly haunting and powerful, with one of Cage’s best performances
31/2* Intense, edgy performance about emergency med. worker burnt out but addicted to the intensity of his job on the streets of NY.
And on the third day, Nicholas Cage rose from the dead in one of the most Catholic movies ever made.

It's good, but gets a little repetitive and a bit too long.
A very stylized Scorsese film that feels like a waking nightmare. The anxiety & horror are palpable as we see the life of an EMT. Great film
Very grim, but in a way that actually works. Plus Cage is typically pretty wild.
I think this movie might be brilliant? Unsure. The dueling tones perfectly match the duality of attitudes required to be an effective EMT.
You really feel like you’ve been up for 6 days straight after finishing this film.
