Classic Cronenberg, twisted yet thoughtful
Ok movie. 30 min shorter wouldve had the same or better effect. Irons is great, not a fan of the girl though. Maybe the show streamlines it.
Cronenberg, yes. Jeremy irons, yes. Doppelgangers, yes. But mainly the perverse joy of the awful tray of sadistic gynecological implements..
Jeremy Irons does a fantastic job in dual roles. The story is unnerving & suspenseful with a touch of humanity involved as well.
A very disturbing and uncomfortable movie with a very shocking ending. Slow-paced but very atmospheric and engrossing. Acting is great too.

Better heroin movie than Trainspotting, too underrated
Irons and Cronenberg. Who cares what it’s about. That being said it is a fantastic film based on a true story. Watch rinse repeat.
