very david cronenberg. a psychosexual oddity that dissects eroded sibling - namely twin - relationships.
Ok movie. 30 min shorter wouldve had the same or better effect. Irons is great, not a fan of the girl though. Maybe the show streamlines it.
Cronenberg, yes. Jeremy irons, yes. Doppelgangers, yes. But mainly the perverse joy of the awful tray of sadistic gynecological implements..
Jeremy Irons does a fantastic job in dual roles. The story is unnerving & suspenseful with a touch of humanity involved as well.
Irons and Cronenberg. Who cares what it’s about. That being said it is a fantastic film based on a true story. Watch rinse repeat.
Creative, if not a little disturbing concept. Dark and odd through to the very end with a great dual performance.
True to the book it’s based on, fascinating
Better heroin movie than Trainspotting, too underrated
I didn't think Cronenberg had a stranger flick than Naked Lunch. A film where to story had me so invested I didn't wanna blink.
Amazing performances and a very intriguing story makes this Cronenberg film a must-see.
