Another strange Terry Gilliam sci-fi film. Worth a watch if you are into that sorta thing.
Compelling acting and tantalizing set and costume design! An entertaining juxtaposition of existential nihilism and personal healing.
Terry gilliam is a god and his worlds are always so magnificent
More of an idea than a coherent functional story. I love watching unconventional films but this one missed the mark for me.
Worth watching but not as cohesive as similar works like Brazil and 12 Monkeys
Loved the aesthetics. Not much there in regards to plot. Watch it if you're in the mood for a gorgeous wacky trip.
Strange near future dystopian sci-fi with a 90's aesthetic that ultimately goes nowhere special. Not good but not horrendous.
Interesting premise, but the delivery is boring. The acting is odd, the visuals are amazing, the entire movie is an uneven mess.
Disappointing for a Terry Gilliam film. Ambitious and visually appealing, but struggles to keep a focused, compelling narrative.
Like with any Gilliam film, his imagination for dystopia is unmatched, unfortunately the plot is overly complex & gets tiresome
