When I saw this at the theater, I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s a good clean movie, plenty of laughs.

The movie that inspired "Chappie" an 80's family-favorite! "Johnny 5, still Alive!" 7/10 "INPUT!"

An 80s classic in the vein of ET that makes you believe a bit in love and friendship and doing the right thing and good outcomes. Cute stuff

Johnny 5 is Alive! May appear cheesy now but was pure 80's fun. Good thing robot & Fisher carried movie instead of Ally Sheedy.

Fun and funny, but pretty one note and drawn out. There needed to be more plot developments, but it's an easy, goofy movie.

A bit predicable but the robot designs are great, the script is fun, and it moves through the story quickly. Johnny 5 is a solid character.

Still holds up today. Jonny 5 is very cute and makes you think of characters like Wall-E.

It's the best of the 80's with a lovable robot running from the government while getting in to trouble.

Fun watch, not the greatest story but it’s still fun

Lightening was magical in the 80s. Classic piece of sci-fi comedy about whether or not Johnny-5 is alive.

After a lightning bolt zaps a robot named Number 5, the lovable machine starts to think he's human and escapes the lab. Hot on his trail is his designer, Newton, who hopes to get to Number 5 before the military does. In the meantime, a spunky animal lover mistakes the robot for an alien and takes him in, teaching her new guest about life on Earth.

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

Amiable slackers Bill and Ted are once again roped into a fantastical adventure when De Nomolos, a villain from the future, sends evil robot duplicates of the two lads to terminate and replace them. The robot doubles actually succeed in killing Bill and Ted, but the two are determined to escape the afterlife, challenging the Grim Reaper to a series of games in order to return to the land of the living.

Flight of the Navigator

12-year-old David is accidentally knocked out in the forest near his home, but when he awakens eight years have passed. His family is overjoyed to have him back, but is just as perplexed as he is that he hasn't aged. Two unpopular teenagers, Gary and Wyatt, fail at all attempts to be accepted by their peers. Their desperation to be liked leads them to "create" a woman via their computer. Their living and breathing creation is a gorgeous woman, Lisa, whose purpose is to boost their confidence level by putting them into situations which require Gary and Wyatt to act like men.
