Awesome family movie. Very imaginative and a little cheesy but it’s a real treat
It’s a fun throwback sci-fi movie. The first half is definitely better than the second.
This movie intruduced me to sci-fi, it’s a great gateway to that world
A classic for kids interested in space and willing to deal with a very 80s movie
Kinda cheesy and campy but really good if your looking for an 80s movie where a kid time warps into the future and must find his way home
As an older brother I always thought the time skip created an interesting dynamic, and while the movie never amounts to much, I enjoyed it.
Enjoyed this as a kid, particularly Paul Reubens performance as the ship's AI. Not sure how it would hold up today. FX are probably outdated
Some of it was enjoyable. But I could have done without the Peewee Herman voice from Max. And I wish there were more plot challenges.
An essential 80's family film, with some impressive visuals to boot
Loved this when I first saw it, loved it much later and love it now.
