Lots of laughs and a decent story, very entertaining.
All I can say is that in the mid 80s this was incredible comedy. You’ll have to decide if it holds up today.

Far from being the ferocious monster they fear "Harry" to be, he's a friendly giant.
The Griswolds win a vacation to Europe on a game show, and so pack their bags for the continent. They do their best to catch the flavor of Europe, but they just don't know how to be be good tourists. Besides, they have trouble taking holidays in countries where they CAN speak the language.
After discovering he's not really black like the rest of his family, likable dimwit Navin Johnson sets off on a hilarious misadventure that takes him from rags to riches and back again. The slaphappy jerk strikes it rich, but life in the fast lane isn't all it's cracked up to be and, in the end, all that really matters to Johnson is his true love.
