A true J-Horror classic, and an all time favourite of mine. The mythology of the Japanese series really makes me prefer this rendition.
i really liked the movie, it’s not as grotesque as the american version but the atmosphere in this is so incredible
I'm enamored with the way this film physicalizes dread. The score, cinematography, acting, and even the color grade all work in concert.
It's not better than the ring but so good and worth watching! It will not waste your time best Japanese movie ever!!!!!

More of a thriller than its American remake, but horror that is here is so effective. That final scene belongs in the horror hall of fame.
The characters made this movie for me, very well-written and really give you a window into the movie to experience the fear firsthand.
