Unusual werewolf thriller. Effects for transformation are hypnotic. Casting and script are terrific. Well-directed and still fears chills.
This movie envelops you in its intense 80s vibes like the furry welcoming arms of a were serial killer. An essential film of the subgenre.
One of the greats from the werewolf genre, a good story with a unique take.
Nothing spectacular, but it is an entertaining and fun werewolf movie. Lots of practical effects!
One of the best werewolf flicks. Awesome gore and effects.
The Transformation scenes are spectacular! Competently directed by legendary director Joe Dante. Film still holds up today.
Competent, gripping film. Dark cinematography
Got good by the last half when it went full-on horror. Before that it was a tedious slasher where the tension builds up without a payoff.
Instead of transforming our protagonist, it transforms her abuser. The monster isn’t born, it just becomes worse. 70s realism & Dante’s camp
Love Dee Wallace! A staple in the Werewolf-Horror genre with some twists.
