One of the best shows I ever watched in my life. Ends in a major cliffhanger but the show was worth watching nonetheless.
Very good show cut by HBO over disagreements with creator on an unrelated project. Disappointing to see a great world built and discarded.
One of my favorite creepy shows. Excellent storyline, acting, and cinematography. One of those that makes you sad when it's done.
At least season one was amazing, season two was a garbage pile. Too bad, another great show, destroyed by network squabble.
Mysterious, funny and a bit of gore. To bad they didn't get to make a couple of more seasons.
The depression era 1930s. A traveling circus. Dark elements permeate the action: poverty on the outside, surreal Christian symbolism inside.
Cool dustbowl noire. Waits just the right amount of time before crossing the line of magical realism.
I and many others were so frustrated that this dark and whimsical series ended when it did. The characters were so unique and fantastic
A weird trip through the Great Depression with a quirky carnival vibe. Dark, intriguing, and definitely not your usual show!
I am still pissed at HBO for canceling Carnivale!! It's brooding, mysterious and grand. I LOVE it!
