Matthew Rhys is amazing as Perry. The whole cast is great actually. Also, Lithgow calls Perry boy-o constantly, which is entertaining AF.
Well acted. Complex story with many moving parts, grabs you from the 1st episode. Very dark in tone, and different from the original series.
Not my thing but the trailer interested me, and I really liked it with a tone of protentinal
Masterful film noir, with an emphasis on the bleakness.
Very good story, very well acted but very slow
Such a good show. Gritty remaining of Perry Mason.
Dark + good but I somehow didnt get past the 3rd ep. Will look to revisit it and hopefully finish
There was some great character work in this, particularly by Rhys, Chalk, and Lithgow. It is unclear who a gritty, R-rated Mason is for.
Very interesting series. Waiting for second season
A rational, deliberate lawyer doesn't mean being anemic. The fault in this series is that Mason's emotions seem like that of a stoner.
