Thematically layered. There’s still hope for mankind.
Whilst nothing can beat the NT staging of this play. I adored the performances. Particularly Jeffrey White’s intelligent take downs.
Suffers from underproduction at key moments but a solid version of this plan nonetheless
Seminal for sure. Love the surreal stuff. It wasn't quite get there however and is very long. Lots of good stuff however.
Somewhat melodramatic but somehow still watchable.
Powerful mini series. Wonderful acting throughout.
A mini series masterpiece about faith, politics, AIDS and mental health with an amazing Meryl Streep and Jeffrey Wright.
Based on tony kushner's play, for the full theatrical effect, it's better to see live.
Beautiful, strange, and surreal storytelling depicts the nightmare of the AIDS epidemic on a personal, political, and historical level.
Tony Kushner’s play is one of the best dramatic works ever and he gifted us with a great screen adaptation. Amazing performances/directing.
