Another well done Brooks spoof although the 1942 original may be or not be better.
Mel Brooks classic. Do I need to say more?
Some funny jokes, but overall falls short.
My first Mel Brooks film, we watched it in my tenth grade history class and to he honest I like it more than the original with Jack Benny.
Big Mel Brooks fan, not his strongest film but entertaining the whole way through.
The chemistry between Mr. & Mrs. Brooks is undeniable, cast is all charm, tone is cheeky, overall it's Shmaltzy...but good schmaltz! 7.5/10
I just dont get why people like Mel Brooks
A Mel Brooks gem that seems to have been overlooked by many. Hilarious as with all Brooks and an engaging WWII setting.
Def 1 of Mel's more mediocre movies, unfortunately.
Despite being a huge Mel Brooks fan, even I can’t quite defend this one. It’s not really bad, it’s just a big step down for him.
