A great movie to watch if you’re feeling down and needing some motivation. One of Stallone’s best for sure

Entertaining, even if you are not into sport movies, like myself.

Story of how this was made: Stallone was offered $250,000 for script but couldn't be in it. A penniless Stallone refused. Eventually he won.

My wife is no fan of boxing or Stallone, but she likes Rocky. A beautifully simple underdog story that's more about frailty than boxing.

There is a reason they made 4 more of these things. Acting and story are both excellent, with the character development as the icing on top.

Beautiful underdog story of a man with NO quit in his heart...full of spirit and an excellent score to back its boxing scenes. Classic
