Obviously the original is always better, but still scary!
Not the best remake out there that’s for sure.
I don't particularly think this is a bad movie but I just don't think it brought anything new to the table from the original
I dind't expected much for this movie , but still feel disapointing.
So unoriginal and added absolutely nothing to the original. Pointless as fck
I expected so much more but it was just boring.
Same story, but not as good. It tweaked a few things but couldn't deliver what the 82 version did. Just okay.

While the original is better, this one is still great enough even though it's not the best.
Rewrite of a classic 👎 fail. Original was my fav horror of all time, this was a waste of film.

The Freelings' suburban home becomes the center of paranormal activity that opens a portal to the 'other side'. With help, they must cross over to get their daughter back.
The Freeling family move in with Diane's mother in an effort to escape the trauma and aftermath of Carol Anne's abduction by the Beast. But the Beast is not to be put off so easily and appears in a ghostly apparition as the Reverend Kane, a religious zealot responsible for the deaths of his many followers. His goal is simple - he wants the angelic Carol Anne.
Carol Anne has been sent to live with her Aunt and Uncle in an effort to hide her from the clutches of the ghostly Reverend Kane, but he tracks her down and terrorises her in her relatives' appartment in a tall glass building. Will he finally achieve his target and capture Carol Anne again, or will Tangina be able, yet again, to thwart him?
A family's suburban home is invaded by angry spirits. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and take the youngest daughter, the family must come together to rescue her.
