Very good prequel about a group of girls at an orphanage, creepy w/ effective jumpscares, probably the best entry in The Conjuring universe
Love this time period and the acting of the girls was amazing! Creepy houses with orphan girls and a slow-burn demon reveal are my weakness
Definitely not my favourite Annabelle movie but I enjoyed it, they were some moments were I questioned why it made it sense.
I’m a sucker for these scary movies. It’s the storyline for me? 😂 if you like conjuring, you’d like this.
A good movie with some affective scares. I watched this one before the other Annabelle’s.
Average horror movie.. I expected more when it came out.
Once the action started it got good. Good story line
Decent supernatural horror flick. Has solid scares and good tension. Fun to watch with others. Good for for a mindless scare. Thumbs up.
Actually quite liked it. Prefer it even over The Conjuring.
Great effort for David F. Sandberg's sophomore release.
A couple begins to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after their home is invaded by satanic cultists.
Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a doll maker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the doll maker's possessed creation—Annabelle.
Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.
