Still one of the best Manga films around, even after 25 years.
If you're looking for some violent, mature, over-the-top anime action, this is the movie to see. I love it for what it is.
Sometimes silly, supernatural, uncomfortably horny at times. What sets this apart from others like it is the incredibly well-paced action.
Released in '93 I can still rewatch it and enjoy it with a much as much enthusiasm as I did the first time.
It's a real edgy action movie with tons of gore and nudity. I found that plot takes a back seat, but still very enjoyable.
This is a must watch for any ninja/samurai enthusiasts! Beautiful choreography accompanied by brutal kills make for an unforgettable watch!

Not for me. I found it very boring and kind of hard to follow. The dub I watched in particular was also really poorly done.
You can tell this is a hugely influential anime film. Great action that still holds up today.
