This film is just so iconic. And Judy Garland’s voice gives me chills
All time great that’ll never be in an all time greats list
A fantastic musical. The Christmas sequence was the crux of the entire movie and it’s one of the best payoffs in cinema history.
Despite some fucked up moments that don’t exactly hold up, the acting and music are still really good.
One might call it cheesy but the adorable Judy Garland alone makes it worthwhile.
For me it was not very interesting type of movie, the story tells life of standard middle class family during that era with some love plots
Some terrific songs but, at the risk of sounding like an awful grump, I do not get the hype. I think this has been coasting on nostalgia.
Not much of a movie. Some extended song and dance scenes with pointless scenes in between. Tootie is demented and needs psychiatric help.
A classic of course that’s a fun watch. Dated in a lot of ways and rather slow
Slow at times but the music is decent and the actresses will hold your interest
