Wasn’t familiar with this director, but it has to be his masterpiece. Of course, Hepburn, Grant and Stewart help just a bit!
Amazing cast of characters. It almost feels like a play.
I didn’t expect to find it so funny but they really snuck some good comedy in there.
The chemistry between Hepburn with both of the leading men is unparalleled. And their quick, sassy dialogue is top tier.
Great dialogue and superb acting. Worth watching just for Jimmy Stewart’s drunk scenes.
Witty dialogue w/ a charming cast, all playing their parts to perfection. 3 of the best actors of their time fill this movie w/ heart.
In a word, witty. Excellent pacing and characters filled with personality, even if I have a bone to pick with the very, very end.
Pretty entertaining performances in a simple story. Very surface level love story but fun while it lasts
A good movie with a stacked cast but I have to admit I like High Society a lot more
A witty script and some great performances make this a cornerstone of the golden age of Hollywood
Interesting character design, pretty comical, but overall pretty well done. Love James Stewart as always.
This movie is introspective, sweet, hilarious, and wonderful. Beautifully shot with an all-star cast & a top performance by Jimmy Stewart.
A great look into the minds and hearts of everyone, lower and upper class and everyone in between. Wonderful performances by everyone
Hepburn steals the show in this classic romance.
A little too stage-structured for me. Really liked the cast. But it just felt like rigid dialogue and highfalutin.
Another fast-taking Carey Grant comedy in the vein of His Girl Friday. Highly recommend
Some of the sharpest dialogue from an amazing cast of actors giving their A-game.
Not a bad movie but not fulfilling the potential of the cast either. Katharine Hepburn was good though.
Everyone should see this movie. It's a classic well-written comedy with a stunning cast.
One of the best ever. Writing, directing, characters, performances; this has it all.
