Judy Garland and James Mason at their finest!
A true classic movie. The remake is good, but the original has a more dignified story arc. Judy Garland at her finest!
Judy Garland is so skilled!!! I still think this version is best. James Mason is so sad - a lush and unloved.
Not as good as Cooper/Gaga but very good
First remake of the original 1937 film. Judy Garland is revelatory in this. “The Man that Got Away” is a great musical performance.
This is a masterpiece of American cinema. Everyone should watch it at least once
An emotionally complex film with great acting, direction, and lovely cinematography. Cukor’s direction feels off at times, though.
I knew about this performance before I even saw the film. Beautiful well done remake.
A true masterpiece Judy Garland at her finest it's a shame she didn't the Oscar she deserved
Weird that this story keeps getting remade. This is my favorite one personally. Mason and Garland hit all the right notes.
