Mostly just a decent movie with a mediocre plot
I love Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood so much. However, this movie lacked substance for me. I tried caring about the sisters but I didnt.
To pull this adaptation off, you would probably need Terrence Malick and a pair of powerhouse lead performances. And they did not have that
Not a good movie, but a good bad movie. Poorly written and badly acted. Good for a laugh, if not for one scene.
It barely gets the good attribute thanks to it's good cinematography and interesting subject. The characters, however, are very annoying.
Page and Wood turn in decent performances as sisters, but both characters are unlikeable or impractical. A boring post-apocalypse story.
It was far better than I expected. 6.5/10
Good acting but marketing as a thriller made it a letdown. It's more a family drama but isnt compelling & doesnt develop the plot/characters
Nothing much, survival movie but good acting
Boring, overly dramatic movie that is saved by good acting from Evan Rachel Wood. The story is dumb with zero explanation or intrigue.
