The book was way better but it’s still a good story.
With what seemed to be a well-rounded cast, this adaption of the Flynn novel unfortunately falls flat.
So-so adaptation of excellent Flynn novel. Charlize Theron is in relatable mode. The story is highly disturbing, plumbing some dark places.
Charlize Theron & Chloe Grace Moretz give great performances. This is definitely a good movie.
The tone of this film is unique. Not frightening but I stayed interested throughout.
It's hard not to compare this to Gone Girl. This was good, and Charlize Theron is wonderful, but it feels almost incomplete.

Meh. This had so much potential and just fell flat. Definitely not the best adaptation of a Gillian Flynn novel.
Okay-ish Flynn adaptation. The cast is good, but doesn't work out as well on screen. If seen independently as a thriller, it's a good watch.
I found the film to be far above average.
