Erm... more like completely the opposite of a celebration.
A slow, dark, bizarre film that set the standard for the Dogme 95 movies, definitely very interesting
El verdadero arte del dogma, con muy poco presupuesto y un guión muy poderoso se escriben las mejores películas.
Poor 'dogme' production value. Chaotic plot. Third act falls apart and doesnt really work. And still it is a masterpiece.
This dogma 95 film has an underlying tension through out the film and once the tension explodes it shatters you.
To call this a dark comedy does not begin to describe either how dark or how strange it is.
One of the best films I’ve ever had to watch for a class.
Muestra la difícil situación de ponerle fin a una situación de abuso intrafamiliar con la desventaja de ser tildado de el loco de la familia
Danish drama and dogme-45 at its peak. Great acting, gripping storytelling and surreal emotional outbursts.
Peak of Thomas Vinterbergs movies. Its very intense.
Pretty strongly made film. More of a film student film than anything but makes a very solid premise of the Dogma Effect with great execution
Jeez. Definitely worth a watch, but it wasn’t really my thing.
dogme 95 is an inherently flawed genre, and while this is a more bearable addition to the genre it is still incredibly tedious & flawed
Maybe dogma is not my thing, but this movie feels like a boring family gathering
Being the first dogma movie it’s a must see.
Don't get discouraged by the campy trailer. See this.
A different style of film making
Classic danish movie
Outstanding
Good shit
