A fascinating vibes-oriented road movie with organic dialogues, strong performances (Jack Nicholson MVP) and a cool soundtrack.
Strip the away pop culture of it all and Easy Rider is a damning critique of US culture that still resonates. “We blew it.” Subtext, man.
Arguably the best soundtrack there is and Jack Nicholson first Oscar nomination. Kinda lost me towards the end tho

One of the best, easy to watch road movies ever made that’s at the same time a great look into late 60’s American society.
Iconic for the leftist counter-culture of 1969 and today. Everyone kills, but Nicholson’s performance steals the show. A masterpiece.
