Stellar cast. Entertaining but not exceptional.
There were aliens. The US govt was there. I genuinely don't remember what the hell else was going on or how it ties into King's mythos.
I don't know what I was expecting after reading the description but it wasn't quite this. Good for fans of sci-fi horror though!

Phenomenal Stephen King story, that apparently the makers of this atrocious movie never bothered to read. One of the worst movies, ever.
If you haven't read the book, this must make no sense at all. The story is super rushed, to the point that vital plot elements are skipped.
