The loose ends aren’t well tied up, but an interesting watch nonetheless. Weak ending.
Typical Jonny depp detective movie a lot like from hell but instead of Jack the Ripper it’s the devil and cult
Follows broadly the same theme as Rosemary's Baby and the ending is a bit dull. Still, the main plot and Depp's performance are pretty good.
I love occult movies, this one was interesting, left a bunch of questions unanswered though

One of my favorite Depp films, plot has a good flow, very ominous. Mystery mixed with occult, twists and turns with a surprise ending.
Lovers of old books and occultism should like this mystery.
I have seen this as teenager, it was good and interesting movie at that time. Dont know what time has done to this
