Interesting concept but some of the characters felt either rushed or not really a part of the story before the climax
A movie that dares to ask uncomfortable questions that will make you question morality. Gibson gives one of his most emotive performances.
Like everything Zahler makes, you want to hate it - but you can’t. The choice of leads makes you want to dismiss the film - but you can’t.
Violent, engrossing and brutal. S. Craig Zahler cements himself as a filmmaker to watch
Not Zahler's best, but his aesthetic and cinematic world is a nihilistic treat. Gibson has always been a top-notch actor.
Gritty and raw. A throwback to exploitation movies of the ‘70s.
Great movie! Excellent character development and direction.
A good depiction of old school versus new school and also a character study on how villains are not all evil but people pushed into a corner
My least favorite of Craig Zahler, but good none the less. More methodical than his films usually are, but Gibson and Vaughn hold it down.
A great thriller. I'm just not sure if it's being police violence apologist or not and that's bugging me.
