Could've been great, and Phoenix is, but the story falls flat and short of the intended results. Good movie, so close to being great.
Decent film. Need to revisit this one someday.

Joaquin Phoenix was great in this movie. But unfortunately I didn't enjoy the story much.
It's a quite good movie that is mostly carried by its excellent actors
