A terrifying suspense pervades the entire film. A psychological and sociological film that is thought-provoking. Not everyone has a taste
Cure is a slow burn police procedural that finds darkness lurking around each corner and manages to create a creepy atmosphere excellently.
Thought provoking and ambiguous are the best terms to describe Cure. Kurosawa really bends the audiences mental fortitude with the suspense.
Very interesting shot composition and overall vibe, but it just wasn’t doing it for me in story
One of the best J-horrors, & best psychological horrors of all time. Are we good people if our minds can be so easily manipulated to kill?

ah! mesmerism, that's it. that's all he does, it's a cheap trick. and to think he fooled us all into thinking the evil was in us. the gall!
