Very long, but worth it. This feels more like a great novel than a movie at times
a Shakespearean Bildungsroman Taiwanese teenage tale of epic proportions. hard for much else to match up to this. all considered, a miracle.
An epic piece of cinema that gives you an excellent taste of the taiwanese new wave movement.

A groaned when I committed to the 4 hours and realized it follows a Romeo & Juliet formula, but it managed to win me over by the final act

Guido Anselmi, a film director, finds himself creatively barren at the peak of his career.
