Such a good depiction of what the Great Depression was like and the boxing matches were very entertaining
Loved it, had a great story and lovely soundtrack. Fight scenes were so intense and eye catching.
Was forced to watch this in 8th grade when we were learning about the Great Depression but I ended up watching it a second time.Good movie
Frickin’ great inspirational boxing movie set during the depression.
It’s no Rocky, but it’s executed with such grace and heart that you’ll end up really enjoying it.
Why does everyone talk about Rocky, but not this movie? This film is far superior. Crowe is great & the story is impactful and satisfying.
One of the best movies I've ever seen. Incredible acting informs a great story. Must see.
Next to Gladiator, this is my most fave other Russ Crowe flick! Sure Master & Commander is a top film, but this has bags more charm + heart!
Just as formulaic as every other boxing movie, but it’s not a bad formula.
Really entertaining sports film that is earnest and well made. Cast is a little uneven and it’s a little too cute
