In the dead of night, at a camping site where they hide, the Band of the Hawk is attacked by Bakiraka assassins led by Silat. When all seems lost, Guts returns from his journey. "You destroyed everything." Crying that Griffith is nothing without Guts, Casca and Guts are joined together body and soul. its heartbreaking and depressing, I can't wait for Griffith to get his, he goin get it, and guts will get him
Very twisted and mind boggling, entire experience is quite breathtaking
Easily the best of the newer Berserk adaptations. The eclipse scene is absolutely fantastic and you can tell all their budget went to it.
While the 90’s series is still the best for Berserk, this film does a great job with showing the eclipse in all its captivating horror
Great but the end will make you feel awful.
It's not a perfect movie by any means, but it brings to life one of the most fantastic stories in manga or anime. Original is best but still
Although it cuts out some material from the manga, this adaption is a dark, twisted, and epic adaptation of early Berserk.
A good transposition of the original anime serie (not of the manga). Hope they'll do for the rest...
Gruesome movie. Hard to watch. The CG looks unbelievably good in some scenes, utterly terrible in others. If you like Berserk, have a go.
I like Berserk and this is nice part of it.

Originally a collection of clips from the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series, Death was created as a precursor to the re-worked ending of the series. Rebirth was intended as that re-worked ending, but after production overruns Rebirth became only the first half of the first part of The End of Evangelion, with some minor differences.
