Slow burn but the action sequences pay off. Great visual effects
Thought provoking, violent and captivating, this is a very well crafted movie.
I really like this movie, not sure why though.
An underrated classic yes it’s violent but the acting is great and so is the story.
This is literally Coen Brothers meets Sam Raimi. There are so many layers to the family dynamic here. Also the ending is breathtaking.
Engaging throughout, never truly satisfying. Perhaps there needed to be a leap into the abstract to tie this one together.
Viggo is amazing in this role. Dark and gritty with a good storyline that isn't cliche. Random fact, the last VHS ever made was this movie.
Violent movie, aptly titled. I liked this film. The story is a little predictable but its well acted and executed (no pun intended).

A thought provoking treatise on how violence can change a person and follow them their entire life. Expect nothing less from Cronenberg.
