A bit barebones and I'd personally recommend Children of Men over it (for a similar idea with more of a punch imo), but not bad by any means
Apart from the unnerving lack of gun safety, it's a good film with good sets and plot. The ending is more hopeful than happy.
Atmosphere is on point, but I'd rather read the book in this case.
A grim and unique post-apocalyptic film, just not the best in the genre.
Bleak, barren post apocalyptic world. Those who find life worthwhile are attached to family. Man & Boy are father/son. Don't expect Mad Max.
This movie is a dark drama. I imagine that this is the most realistic apocalypse movie to date. Anything Viggo does is worth watching.
This, and the British film "Threads," are movies that made the knife drawer look like the best possible option. My God!
It’s a thought provoking film with interesting and beautiful cinematography and characters. A worthwhile slow burn.
This is a good movie, but I think one watch is enough. Not sure I want to do that again. Crushing.
