Interesting perspective on the music industry and the metamorphism at the time with Bowie,Lou reed etc… the throughline story wasn’t enough.
It had everything to be good, but it's somehow boring.
It captures the gritty, chaotic world of the 1970s music industry with great performances and a fantastic soundtrack.
It’s amazing the high-gloss, high-pedigree shows that don’t pan out. Still, anyone would believe you if you lied and said this was a megahit
Probably the worst HBO series I've seen. Actors do their best hackneyed plot about corrupt music business.Way too tame. R Romano miscast.
A trend Iv noticed is the best shows Iv watched are always the ones that have gotton cancelled early... This is the best example
Fast paced and in a good time period. Setup a great plot. Too bad it was short lived.
Sex, drugs and rock & roll personified on celluloid. An old school rock fanatic's wet dream. Captures the feeling of listening to the Stones
Finally an interesting topic. I've seen it twice and I still love it. It has many details that make that wonderful. Very well done
Interesting, different, great acting. I still do not understand why the new regime of hbo doesn't support the second season
