This movie is a masterclass in designing soundscape. Paul Davies elevated what could’ve been a forgettable film into one worth consideration
Didn't know how to rate this properly. Phoenix has played some dark characters this is his darkest. Slow and depressing really.
A film that is stunningly withdrawn. It's so brutal, but somehow so heartwarming. Character complexity through a simple plot.
An uncomfortable movie. It's sad that there is probably some truth to stories like this. As always, Phoenix does an excellent job.
This soundtrack is a goddamn masterpiece. And(spoiler) never have I felt more destroyed by the lack of a pedophile's on-screen gory demise

A great slow burn character film. Joaquin does a fantastic job in this. Writing is great. Cinematography seems a bit amateurish though.
Pretty much a modern day “Taxi Driver” in all the best ways. Phoenix gives a hell of a performance and the cinematography is masterful.
This is hard to rank. Very slow burn, depressing, weird, but the acting is fantastic. Between Meh and good IMO
Joaquin plays tortured loner so well. A very unique psychological action/thriller with masterful editing
