A strange and beautiful mystery filled with suspense and body horror.

It could do without 30 min worth of sexual scenes, but it's still captivating. There is something about this movie: It lives and breathes.

A very weird movie. Not terribly complex, but I’m still not entirely sure what this is about. Worth watching for horror/weird film fans.

Exquisite body horror from the master himself - I still need to give this a rewatch, but its themes are hyper relevant today

Cronenberg predicts the addiction and perversion of media through the TV. Creepy and perfectly paced

Full of surprises and very entertaining, expertly crafted film from start to finish. A couple dated elements in this but it’s great

Balances 1980’s body horror and a harsh criticism of violence on screen and the reality of violence

Themes were probably a lot more profound at release, but the animatronics and special effects remain astoundingly good.

Disturbing body horror with an important message about thinking about what media we consume.
