The atmosphere, cinematography and practical effects were amazing and so charming. Gary Oldman carried but everyone else was still great too
A classic worth watching, that has aged reasonably well. Goes from excellent to dull performances, with overall good narrative and tension.

If you looked up “sophisticated trash” in a dictionary of expressions, this film would be mentioned. Reeves is gloriously awful. Good fun.
Everyone trashes Keanu. Nobody mentions how Hopkins feels like he’s been teleported in from another movie. Flaws aside this movie is so fun.
The best looking film of all time, and Coppola’s best film
At least 80% more horny than the book and full of 90’s camp. Overall pretty ok.
