A film much of its period with timeless dance numbers. Not for everyone but if musicals and dance appeal, this should be seen.
The best scene is the ballroom dance between Fred and Ginger
Pretty thin premise. But Astaire is a natural entertainer. Chuckled a time or two. For the pace, it should’ve been able to play out quicker.
A must watch for Astaire & Rogers fans, and anyone else into wonderfully fluid movement on screen.

“When we’re out together dancing cheek to cheek…” The crème de la crème of the 10 Fred Astaire and Gingers Rogers musicals. Perfection.
Love the joyous dancing scenes and quite a bit of the humor. But the plot is mostly annoying antics.
Classic must see film. A beautiful story.
