I think it's just a different kind of comedy. It's got a decent mix of cheap and more complex laughs.

Classic goofy comedy in great Brooks style. So quotable. Candy great as sidekick. "I'm a Mawg, 1/2 man, 1/2 dog. I'm my own best friend. "

Didn’t realize how much dialogue I had memorized since seeing it as a kid. All the biggest laughs are with Dark Helmet. Rick Moranis is gold
