So beautifully haunting. A silent look inwards about the end of the world and what that would be like. Utterly fantastic Tarkovskys last win
The end of the world is a cool thing in movies. Aliens exploding Mt Rushmore or a tornado picking up the pyramids or whatever. Not true here
The unbearable sadness that takes me when I think about the sacrifice of all the crew of Stalker before this movie
A bit too long, and I think it's better before it gets really Tarkovskyeque, but it's overall pretty good to see Tarkovsky doing Bergman.
