A big little movie about faith and missing the past. Wish i could write a longer review, this was a life changing experience. So much to say
It hits you hard while it is very difficult to tell why. It is slow, boring and moving like nothing you've seen before.
Almost autobiographical, probably one of the darkest Tarkovsky but a huge one nonetheless
Feels gloomy and haunting and it's perfect. All the scenery is amazing, the characters are great. And that 10 minute scene...mixed feelings

A psychologist is sent to a space station orbiting a planet called Solaris to investigate the death of a doctor and the mental problems of cosmonauts on the station. He soon discovers that the water on the planet is a type of brain which brings out repressed memories and obsessions.
