You dip a toe in the deep shrouded tide. The warmth quietly conjures the faint touch of faded love. Can you bring yourself to wade further?

Enormous flex. Pretty much the best looking film ever.

Extremely slow paced but worth sinking your time and attention into this master class of science fiction meets metaphors

No, this is not 2001: A Space Odyssey. That film deals with evolution. This one explores the pursuit of knowledge and questions what love is

Solaris asks a question similar to the Ship of Theseus. If we could copy people from our memories of them, would they still be themselves?

Tarkovsky knows how to capture nature better than any director!

It's a slow film without action that is not made for everyone, its purpose is fully intellectual and reflective. A masterpiece of Sci-Fi.

In typical Tarkovsky fashion he uses a f’n 3hr grand space epic to explore the vague concept of capital E Existentialism. Visually stunning
