I think there is a bunch of confused folks thinking they need to live off the grid because of “peak oil “ because of this movie.

This is the benchmark for post apocalyptic movies

Man, the world really went to shit in a very short period of time didn't it?

George Miller finds his footing in this visionary apocalyptic tale for survival.

This movie was a lot of fun, but I can't help feel as if some of the characters were wasted.

A clear influence on Fury Road, with some of the better practical stunts in the last half century

Perfecr blend of camp and serious action. Tbe Humungous is both hilarious and terrorfying. Best of the Gibson trilogy

You can see why the 4th film took full inspiration from the final action scene in this film.

The Road Warrior is one of the best action heroes of all time; leading us down an endless highway of passion, rage, and companionship.

Really brings the Mad Max series into full speed (heh heh). A lot of similarities with the western genre as well with the themes
