One of the few times where the film adaptation surpasses the original book. Genuinely scary at times
I wish there were more creepy creatures
Worthy of a watch to experience the shocking ending.
This movie will break you. It's scary, suspenseful, heartfelt and downright brutal by the end.
Love letter to the paranoia of the 50s; an excellent job at portraying how frail society is and the depths people go to to survive. 7.5/10
This is not a good movie, but it is really a lot of fun
Too much focus on (bad) explicit animations of monsters instead of the story. Great view on group dynamics and religion though.
The ending and the soundtrack raise this movie beyond a simple monster flick
A decent Stephen king movie which was alright untill the last 5 minutes which showed a breathtaking ending and definitely moved it up a bit
Drags on. Characters make dumb decisions. Meh.
The Mist manages to create an atmosphere of terror with a plot that is used to its potential. ☆3.3/5
Although the plot isn't too realistic, it offers an amazing look into the human psyche and how a catastrophe affects people. Great movie.
The gut-wrenching ending was almost enough to save this sloppy cluster. Dialogue was nearly as bad as the CGI…But that ending though.
Very depressing. It was shot well, but it's Stephan King. He isn't known for happy endings to his stories.
The ending is awesome but the movie feels like a fan project overall
This is a fucked up movie. Great, but fucked up.
The monsters were really bad, soundtrack awful at some moments and the ending is unexpected, but wouldn't call it good
I preferred the movie to the TV show, the visual effects are really good. Thomas Jane carry the movie.
One of my favourite horror movies of all time. The plot was so original and great actors all around with an absolutely devastating end
Interesting set up and theme, but awful acting, writing, and CGI bring this movie down. The ending is wild tho
