Not as good as the first one, but it still builds off the first one well and tells a fairly interesting, albeit predictable, story

As far as Disney sequels go, I think this is one of the better ones.

Funny and actually kind of memorable. Not even close to a classic but is worth a watch. Music is good in it.

Loved it so much more than the original have watched it so many times and love the songs

This film does not come under the umbrella of “sequels being bad”, it’s a great Romeo + Juliet retelling/story with a brilliant soundtrack.

I loved it when I was a kid and still love it!

Pretty similar to the first but remotely enjoyable. Kids dug it.

Not as good as the first, but still a worthy sequel. Great story. I still love it as an adult today.

Blew my mind when I read Romeo and Juliet in high school and realized this movie was essentially the same story with lions
