The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Drama • G • 1996 • 1 hr 31 min
One of my favourite Disney movies, different from the most of them. Dark theme, religion and a terrifying -and disgusting- villain.
This may be the best Disney Renaissance movie. The music is phenomenal, and the story has some unique twists on the standard Disney plot
One of Disney's best. Underrated film with mature messages, amazing music, and a dark tone.
As many of you said. This is one of Disneys darker stories. The animation is awesome and story is engaging.
One of the darkest Disney films also has one of the best soundtracks and some of the best animation, along with fantastic characters.
Very underrated, the music is amazing honestly, animation isn’t bad but the 3D background characters are very dated (hard to un see)
Memorable music and the visually are amazing. A bit darker and more mature from Disney.
In my opinion this is a classic with the best animation, great musical numbers, one of the best Disney Villains, and good plot.
A Disney classic that is emotional with incredible visuals, music, and storylines
Gargoyles, like the big stones they are, bring the movie down.
At the urging of his gargoyle pals, Quasimodo leaves Notre Dame tower against the wishes of his guardian, the evil Judge Claude Frollo. He ventures out to the Festival of Fools and finds his first true friend, a Romani woman named Esmeralda, who entrusts him with a secret. When the secret is revealed, Quasi soon finds himself fighting to save the people and city he loves.
Now that Frollo is gone, Quasimodo rings the bell with the help of his new friend and Esmeralda's and Phoebus' little son, Zephyr. But when Quasi stops by a traveling circus owned by evil magician Sarousch, he falls for Madellaine, Sarouch's assistant.
