One of the most fucked things I've seen. Subtly alien/bizarre & morally perverse in a Freudian way. Torture to watch, but earns props for it
The acting was incredible and it was beautifully disgusting the way through. I loved it.
Kubrickian examination of hubris and power. Intentional strange delivery of dialogue. A pretty messed up movie, to be sure.
This one is very out there. Yorgos Lanthimos creates a story that you don’t even realize is unfolding.
Not expecting that. I don’t know if I would watch it again probably with someone who has never seen it. Very psychological.
