Simply astounding, god I love this movie. It’s so dark and cold (literally too) for a western. EVERYBODY SHOULD SEE IT.
An oppressively cynical western that toys with tropes at the viewer’s expense. Loco is one hell of a memorable villain from start to finish.
Somber, unusal, maybe a bit slow but surprising in many ways
At first I hated it. But I have come to be haunted by it, so I grudgingly give it my respect. It’s a very well made film anyway.
Great movie with a unique style and memorable score. As good as the Italian Western Classics by Sergio Leone.
3 out of 10 with the caveat that I find bad dubbing incredibly distracting in what others may find easily ignored in a good movie.
One of the best Italian Westerns. Must watch for friday movie night.

Ip Man's peaceful life in Foshan changes after Gong Yutian seeks an heir for his family in Southern China. Ip Man then meets Gong Er who challenges him for the sake of regaining her family's honor. After the Second Sino-Japanese War, Ip Man moves to Hong Kong and struggles to provide for his family. In the mean time, Gong Er chooses the path of vengeance after her father was killed by Ma San.
