One of my goto 80s horror flicks. Atmospheric, campy, fun John Carpenter jawn. I enjoy falling asleep to this movie for whatever thats worth
Atmospheric, creepy horror. Fun to watch.
Not Carpenter’s best: the pacing is weird and the script is a little weak. What it lacks there it makes up for in vibes and cinematography.
Carpenter creates such an eerie atmosphere in this harbor town ghost horror
Truly believe this is some of Carpenter’ best work. The score is great and the plot is perfect!
Really entertaining with unbelievable atmosphere thanks to the beautiful Point Reyes
John Carpenter shows why he is a master of horror and suspense with this gloomy dreadful masterpiece.
A haunting and atmospheric horror film. It creates a sense of dread and mystery with its eerie music, foggy visuals, and creepy story.
Enjoyable campfire horror tale w/ excellent cinematography that compels viewers beyond the sometimes lacking plot, good cast & performances
Surprisingly good horror film from one of the masters
